Black Queens Set for Senegal Training Tour as Björkegren Names Squad—-Kim Lars Björkegren has named a 23-player squad for the Black Queens’ upcoming training tour in Senegal, scheduled for April 1-9, 2025.

The tour will feature high-intensity training sessions and two international friendlies against Senegal’s Teranga Lionesses in Dakar.

The squad has been strengthened by the return of midfielders Ernestina Abambilla and Patience Peterson-Kundok, defender Phillicity Asuako, and attacker Princess Owusu, who rejoin the team after a brief absence.

Hasaacas Ladies goalkeeper Grace Buoduwa Banwaa, arguably the safest pair of hands in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League this season, has earned her maiden call-up.

After 15 rounds of matches, Banwaa has kept 12 clean sheets and conceded just one goal, securing her spot in the latest Black Queens setup.

This tour is a crucial part of Ghana’s preparations for the upcoming WAFCON tournament, as the team aims for success.
